“Central Coast California” | USA Series

Oh,  SUMMER  2017!  You  are  one  of  the  unforgettable.  Lots  of  things  happened  this  year. One  of  those  is  that,  I  travelled  to  the  United  States  of  America  for  the  first  time.  Like  all the  “first  time  explorers”,  we  got  carried  away  by  all  the  places  we  want  to  visit  in  a  short period  of  time.  It  was  indeed  fun  and  crazy!  Let  me  share  to  you  the  places  I  have  been.

Riding through route 66, we ended up in this amazing scenery of pure nature and good vibes – The Sequoia Nationa Park. This national park is located at the southern Sierra Nevada and east of Visalia, California.

This dramatic landscape testifies to nature's size, beauty, and diversity--huge mountains, rugged foothills, deep canyons, vast caverns, and the world's largest trees.” - NPS website

Despite the wildfires the park had, the beauty of this place is still astonishing and on point. We stayed here for the whole day.

After this, we headed to the famous Death Valley

One in our group wanted to visit this place so we drove through the road leading to a place where warning signs were posted. Without any discussions, we decided to go out and walk a bit and take some pictures. “This is just a desert, what is the warnings for?”, I thought to myself. Later, there came two cars checking on what we were doing there. They told us that the place is a restricted area and unauthorized people are not allowed to go further in. One of the men called another one and said that we were just some tourists. We later found out that is it the road to AREA 51. Crazy, right?! We got so scared that we went the other way.

We then went and visited the Pigeon Point and Santa Cruz Beach

I love the sight of the sea! It is relaxing such as this places. A must-see tourit spots for sure!

Travel Tips:

Prepare some sun-protection paraphernalia like umbrella, hats or sun creams.

Wear comfy clothing and shoes. There is going to be a lot of walking.

Bring plenty of water! You don’t want to be dehydrated while sightseeing! Some food and small snacks will be handy as well.

Be mindful of the road signs. It will keep you out of trouble.

Next stop, Bay Area California!

Thank you for reading and see you next week!

XO,

Miss K
